St. Petersburg, Florida -- This Sunday, Dec. 30, the public is invited to visit with the animals from Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo outside The Mahaffey Theater, on the Plaza, from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Zoo ambassadors will have the animals on hand on the Plaza before Jungle Jack Hanna's Into the Wild Live show at 3 p.m.

Bradenton, Florida -- South Florida Museum announced Monday that more than 1,100 individuals contributed to The Ripple Effect for Manatees this year. Donations ranged from $1 to $1,012, and came from around the country. 

Tampa, Florida -- WaZoo Beer Fest, recognized as one of the “10 Great Beer Festivals in the Country” by USA Today, returns Saturday, Aug. 4 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.

Following last year’s record attendance, the VIP area known as The Blue Moon® Beastly Beverage Club (BBC), has expanded into the large adjacent outdoor courtyard adjacent to the Safari Lodge.
