3K Pet Walk to benefit SPCA Tampa Bay | Pets

St. Petersburg, FL -- Pet lovers, lace up your walking shoes and put Fido on a leash as part of an effort to save lives through the 21st Annual 3K Pet Walk in Downtown. Now is the time to register for the October 15 event. The event benefits SPCA Tampa Bay.

Organizers ask that owners must make sure their pet is wearing a comfortable collar or harness and is kept under control at all times. Water bowls will be placed all over the park to ensure your pet stays hydrated.

Proof of current vaccinations including rabies is required. Dogs and cats must have current licenses in the city or county where they reside. Pooper-Scooper bags will be made available. Please be sure to pick up after your own pet. No female pets in heat will be allowed to participate in any 3K Pet Walk activity.

In addition to the walk, there will be an adoptable pet parade, best dressed competition, and dog agility courses.

The 3K Walk is October 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Straub Park.
