Tampa, Florida --  The mob is infiltrating Tampa Bay.  We're not talking about the mobsters of Tampa's past.

Flash mobs?  Those are so 2011!

And, those mob burglaries?  Come on!  It's not only against the law, it's not very nice.

We're talking about the Secret Cash Mob.

"It's the element of surprise," explained Kim Kenney, founder of the Secret Tampa Cash Mob.

Kenney started Tampa's Secret Cash Mob earlier this year which made its first hit last month at Tate and Tilly's boutique in Carrollwood.

Sweet surprise for school lunch trays

Largo, Florida -- Students will see a sweet surprise on their school lunch trays in Pinellas County on Monday as thousands of fresh strawberries are served up for the first time.

Low strawberry prices meant the school district could snag an unprecedented deal on more than 500 flats of strawberries. Each flat cost less than $10 and carries eight sizable boxes of berries.

Frozen strawberries and small samplings of fresh ones have been offered to Pinellas County's students before, but this is the first time full servings of the fresh kids' favorite have been available.

Bay area wonders can Kony video save lives in Uganda?

St. Petersburg, Florida - The 30 minute film that was uploaded to YouTube on March 5 exposes, Joseph Kony, an African warlord and his army of children to the world.

It has swept across the Internet and gone viral. Now the man responsible for creating the video, Jason Russell, is saying thank you. His video, Kony 2012, has been viewed 60 million times and counting since Monday. Most of the viewers watching the film are teens.

Get Election Day turnout estimates on Facebook, Twitter

Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark has announced the county will provide periodic turnout estimates on Election Day for the March 13 Municipal Elections.

Overall average Election Day turnout from 10 selected polling places will be posted on Facebook and Twitter at approximately 10:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The updates will provide an estimated Election Day turnout for all nine municipalities conducting elections.

Sow your wild sea oats at Fort De Soto

Tierra Verde, Florida -- Those interested in helping maintain the beach at Fort De Soto Park are invited to join the Friends of Fort De Soto in the Sow Your Wild Sea Oats volunteer event on Saturday, March 10.

Sea oats are being planted to help stabilize and establish a dune system to prevent erosion and offer a habitat for native wildlife.

Childhood obesity and custody battles

St. Petersburg, Fl. - Recent reports by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show childhood obesity affects 17% of our nation's youth and now it's impacting custody cases.

We spoke with a local attorney about the issue. Anissa Morris says because the number of childhood obesity cases have increased, more and more judges in custody cases are considering the risks of obesity.

Morris says because custody cases are fact specific, one parent would have to prove the other parent was being neglectful and caused the child to be obese.
