Man killed after crashing truck into brick wall, tree | News
St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Petersburg Police have identified the man who was killed in a single car crash near Admiral Farragut Academy Tuesday night as 50-year-old William Turner.
Police say Turner was speeding on 5th Avenue North when he crashed his 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 into a brick wall and then a tree.

It is not known at this time why he continued west on 5th Avenue and crossed Park Street North just before crashing into the wall.
Turner, who lived about 3 miles from the crash site, died at the scene.
