World of Beer celebrates one-year in downtown St. Pete | News

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Looking for somewhere to grab a brew and help open up that wallet? World of Beer in downtown St. Pete is hosting its one-year anniversary celebration today from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m.

"It has been a great year with our extended World of Beer family and loyalty members," said World of Beer Downtown St. Pete General Manager Seth Kapp. "We have had the privilege to share our passion for great beer with St. Pete and look forward to another year of great time, great beer, and great people; CHEERS!"

The event will feature live music, Wicked Wiches Food Truck and --of course -- a huge selection of brews. There will be dollar-off drafts from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as $3 Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella Pilsner. All 41 taps will be dedicated to local Florida breweries, including Cigar City, Dunedin Brewery, Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Florida Beer Company and more.

There will also be two specialty beer firkins provided by Pensacola Bay and Swamphead in which loyalty members can receive a point for that day. The live music will begin at 9 p.m. with a performance by Dosage.
