Clearwater Beach, Florida -- Coffee for a nickel and a full dinner for under $3? It's no mistake - it's how Florida's oldest restaurant is celebrating its 107th anniversary.
The Columbia Restaurant is rolling back its menu prices to 1905 Sunday, Sept 16 at its Sand Key, Ybor City and St. Petersburg locations, to thank guests for their support over the years.
The "1905 Days" menu includes:
Chicken & Yellow Rice: $2.95
Boliche: $2.95
Merluza "A la Rusa": $2.95
Columbia's Original 1905 Salad™ $1.95
Spanish Bean or Cuban Black Bean Soup:
cup: 50-cents, bowl 75-cents
Sangria - glass: 95 cents
Flan: 35-cents
American Coffee - cup: 5 cents
The 1905 prices will be in effect from noon to 7 p.m.
Lines are expected to begin to form outside the restaurants as early as 7 a.m.
Columbia's Tampa Riverwalk and Café at TIA will not offer the "1905 Day" prices Sunday, but will be open and serving from their regular menu.
