Website to help drivers cope downtown during RNC | News
Tampa, Florida --The Republican National Convention which begins in less than two weeks is expected to create a traffic nightmare for commuters in Downtown Tampa.
To ease the pain the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority ( TBARTA) has created a website it is calling "Commuter Solutions".
The website www.RNC-Traffic.com will have links to transportation related to the event.
Information available on the site includes maps of where parking will be available, road closures, detours and current traffic conditions.
TBARTA is encouraging Downtown employees to "consider commute options" during the RNC event.
