Pedestrian killed in St. Pete accident | News
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A St. Petersburg man is dead after he was struck and killed by a driver early Saturday.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, 46-year-old Steven Ponce was walking eastbound on Gandy Boulevard around 2:40 a.m. when he was hit by a 2010 Honda driven by 25-year-old Jasmine Minnis.
Police say Ponce was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges were filed.
