Shore Acres house fire sends several to hospital | News
St. Petersburg, Fla. -- Firefighters were called to a St. Petersburg home early this morning to find three adults and a child standing outside as flames were shooting out behind them.
Firefighters say the Shore Acres home has been under renovation, which made it harder to contain the 3-alarm fire.
All four people who had been in the home, along with a firefighter, were taken to Bayfront Medical Center for smoke inhalation.
One firefighter was also treated for heat exhaustion.
Investigators are still trying to determine how that fire was started.
