St. Petersburg, Florida -- Growing up, you can probably remember several people that made a difference in your life whether it was a teacher, coach or even a neighbor. You can help start something big by just being a mentor.
On Wednesday morning, Big Brothers and Big Sisters hosted a breakfast fundraiser to encourage you to get involved in your community.
10 News Anchor Reginald Roundtree was there along with his 10 News colleagues Tammie Fields, Beau Zimmer, and Travis Bell.
Inevitably, having a little brother or sister will mean more to a child and you than just spending time together, they'll end up feeling like family.
There are more than 300 "littles" waiting to be matched with a big brother or big sister in Pinellas County, and half of those are in St. Pete. The need is especially great in South Saint Petersburg.
