Enter calendar contest, get free Yappy Hour ticket | Events

Clearwater, Florida -- For one week only, residents can enter their pet in the Humane Society of Pinellas' Calendar Contest for just $10 and get a free admission to Yappy Hour.

Every entry in the 2013 Celebration of Companionship Calendar Contest is guaranteed to appear somewhere in the calendar. The top 13 vote-getters at just $1 per vote will receive a professional photo session by Rebecca Brittain and be featured for a whole month or on the cover.

Enter the Calendar Contest or vote for your favorites at mulabula.com/HumanePinellas. The Calendar Contest ends Sept. 17.

Yappy Hour® is a July 11 cocktail party hosted by Bright House Field at Frenchy’s Tiki Bar. The event features pet toy drive, costume contest, and prizes.

The event starts at 5 p.m., followed by the game at 7 p.m.. Dog tickets are usually $5 and people tickets range from $5 to $9.50.

All proceeds from both events support the Humane Society of Pinellas.
