On any given day in Pinellas County, it can rain. The rainwater trickles off roofs, runs through lawns and down driveways, moves along the streets’ gutters and into a stormdrain. It flows through pipes to a neighborhood pond or stream and continues to drain until it eventually washes into the open waters of Tampa Bay or the Gulf of Mexico.

Fertilizer, pesticides, trash, yard waste and pet waste goes right along with it. This all happens in the watershed.
