Clearwater, Florida - Recycling has come to the county's beaches!

The county has placed blue recycling containers next to trash cans on the beach or in parking lots, so beach-goers can recycle aluminum cans, plastic bottles and other recyclable materials.

The beach recyclable sites are:

  • Dunedin Causeway
  • Gulfport
  • Honeymoon Island State Park
  • Indian Rocks Beach
  • Indian Shores
  • Madeira Beach
  • Sand Key Park
  • St. Pete Beach
  • Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs
  • Treasure Island

Recycling sites will be in place by the end of the month at:

  • Fred Howard Park
  • North Redington Beach
  • Park Boulevard Boat Ramp
  • Redington Beach
  • Redington Shores
  • Tiki Gardens Beach Access
