St. Petersburg, Florida -- The Florida Orchestra (TFO) is hosting two free Pops in the Park concerts this weekend.

The first performance is Saturday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. at Vinoy Park. Sunday's concert will be held at 7 p.m. at River Tower Park.

Guests are invited to enjoy a concert under the stars with guest conductor Stuart Chafetz and music by John Williams and John Phillip Sousa; selections from The Music Man, A Chorus Line and Mission Impossible; hits by Duke Ellington and a musical salute to the 1950s. The evenings will end with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.

Tampa, Florida – Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day is a national celebration of museums, and it's taking place near you on Saturday, September 29.

The doors will open at 10 a.m., welcoming all guests to take part in the celebration of museums. Participating museums will allow a visitor with a Museum Day Pass and one guest free admission to the museum.

St. Petersburg, Florida – A new eatery, the Tapas Restaurant and Bar opened this past Tuesday, Aug. 7, in west St. Petersburg.  It is located at 1700 Park Street North and Elbow Lane by the Jungle Prada public boat launch and the Jungle Prada de Narvaez Park.
