Pinellas County, Florida -- Bring family and friends to enjoy FREE film classics and music each Thursday evening in May on St. Petersburg's beautiful downtown waterfront in North Straub Park. The movies and music events are produced by St. Petersburg Preservation.

The fun begins with music at 7 pm and movies at dark on the Beach Drive side of the park, between 4th and 5th Avenues NE. Movies are free; pay-what-you-can donations appreciated.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Check out the food trucks this Cinco de Mayo at Vinoy Park for Latin American Celebration 2013.

The festival will include the 2012 and 2013 Cuban Sandwich Festival Winner Michelle Faedo's On the Go and St. Petersburg's Taco Bus. There will be other trucks, street vendors and area restaurants offering tasty treats. Grab cold drinks at the Dos Equis Beer Garden. The Sunday, May 5th event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pinellas County, Florida -- Registration is now open for one-week children’s summer camps at Brooker Creek and Weedon Island preserves. 

The Brooker Creek Preserve will offer a Herpetology Camp for children ages 7 to 11. 

Herpetology Camp participants will explore the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles through close encounters with a variety of animals, including tortoises, frogs, lizards and snakes. The camp will be led by wildlife biologist and environmental educator George L. Heinrich.
