St. Petersburg, Florida -- A St. Petersburg man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for sharing numerous files of child porn over the Internet.
Court documents say an undercover FBI agent launched a file sharing program and came across Daniel Lombardi using the program to share a folder containing numerous images of child porn.
During a search of his home on Jan. 25, detectives uncovered over 2,500 images and 115 video files of child porn on his computer and hard drives. That same day, detectives say Lombardi confessed to possessing and sharing child porn over the Internet.
Lombardi, 30, pled guilty on May 8, 2012.
In addition to his sentence, the court also ordered Lombardi to forfeit a laptop computer and two hard rives.
