Man wanted in connection with deadly Easter shooting
Crime

St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Petersburg detectives have issued a warrant for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the shooting death of one woman and attempted murder of another person on Easter morning.

Detectives say they believe 22-year-old John Curry was one of two armed suspects who entered the home at 4034 11th Avenue South and shot both Tamika Mack and Tore Holley multiple times on Easter morning this year.

Holley managed to get away to a neighbor's for help, but Mack died later that morning at the hospital.

Detectives believe Curry is armed and dangerous and is aware that police are looking for him.

Curry is described as 5'7", 150 lbs., and his last known address is 3510 16th Avenue S. He has numerous tattoos including the words, "Life", "Death", "Laniel", and "Mickey" on his neck, a skeleton in flames on the upper left arm and a cross with praying hands on his right upper arm.

A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780.
