Fight ends in gunfire landing one in hospital, one in jail | Crime
St. Petersburg, Florida -- A fight between two men ended with one in the hospital and one in jail late Thursday night.
Police say during the fight at an apartment on 11th Ave. S., Michael Defuria shot Derichelieu Davis multiple times. Davis, 32, was taken to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment where he is in stable condition at this time.
Police say the two are acquaintances and the cause of the fight or who owns the gun is not known at this time.
Defuria, 25, was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree.
