Two shot, one killed in St. Pete home invasion | Crime

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Police say a woman is dead and a man hospitalized after they were both shot in what appears to be a home invasion early Sunday morning in St. Petersburg.

24-year-old Tamika Mack and 29-year-old Tore Holley were both shot multiple times during the robbery at a residence on 11th Avenue South.  The man was able to flee to a neighbor's house for help.

Both victims were taken to Bayfront Medical Center, where Mack, who was shot in the head, died. Holley is currently listed in stable condition.

Detectives believe at least two suspects were involved, but have not released any further details at this time.
