Dreamer's Fate | Community Spirit
Dreamer, the dog who lived aboard the sailboat Promise with Jay Burki, started the road to recovery Monday morning, although according to the veterinary tech who looked over the dog, he still has a couple of months before he could have surgery.
When Mr. Burki went to the hospital with a broken jaw last week, a friend who lives in the Old Northeast section of St. Petersburg offered to watch the dog. Several Gulfport residents offered to get Dreamer medical attention.
Monday morning Dreamer took a trip to the vet. According to Gulfport Veterinarian, Dreamer needs the following care...
