St. Petersburg, Florida -- You can check out the works of nearly a dozen contemporary Honduran artists at the Dali Museum. The exhibit "Contemporary Honduran Artists: An Introduction at the Dali Museum" is at 4 pm Sunday, May 12th.

Art class for beginners

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Come out to a fun, new art class called Canvas Play.

Even if you have never painted anything before, this class is for everyone! Bring snacks and drinks because the paints, brushes and canvass will be provided.

There will be a demonstrated how to paint a picture step by step.

The class will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be at Dazzio Art Experience, 627 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Spring for the Arts will take place on Saturday, April 27.

It is Creative Clay's premier fundrasing even of the year at the St. Petersburg Pier. 

It will feature live music by La Lucha and Jun Bustamante. There will also be free swing dance lessons, magic by Magin Man Van Valin, raffle, silent acution adn more than 200 pieces of Creative Clay art. 

Rickets cost $35 in advance, $45 at the door.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- This Monday night, the sounds of Gospel will roll through downtown St. Pete as members of Bethel Baptist Community Church’s Praise Team prepare to put Gospel on the Sunday brunch menu.

To prepare for their Sunday debut, the Praise Team will get the spirit warmed up on Monday, April 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Jannus Live, 200 1st Ave N in Downtown St. Petersburg.

Tampa Bay Blues Festival underway

St. Petersburg, Florida  -- Vinoy Park is hosting more than a dozen acts at this year's Tampa Bay Blues Festival in Downtown St. Pete. The three-day festival is underway.

The Tampa Bay Blues Festival is one of the world's finest blues music events. Some of the artists include: Jonny Lang, Sugar Ray & The Bluetones, Tab Benoit, and Janiva Magness. 

Single day tickets cost $35.
