Police search for woman missing from nursing home

St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public's help locating a woman who has been missing since Aug. 4.


Police say Teresa Kermani was last seen at the Loving Care Nursing Home at 1001 Dr. Martin Luther King Street in St. Pete around 10 a.m. It is believed Kermani left the nursing home of her own and has done this in other instances for various periods of time. 


Authorities say she has a number of physical and mental health issues for which she requires treatment and her family is concerned for her well being. She has been homeless a number of times in the past and has been known to frequent the Polk County area.


She is described as 5'4", medium build, gray/brown hair, light colored eyes and slouches as she walks.
