Pinellas County, FL -- Six Pinellas County teachers are up for the Educator of the Year award and you can vote for your fan favorite!

Pinellas County's best educators and business partners will be recognized at the Evening of Excellence in front of more than 1,000 guests including educators, community leaders and visionary business leaders.

The event will pay tribute to the Best Educators and the Best Business Partners who create ever-expanding opportunities for Pinellas County's Children.

It will also celebrate this year's induction to the Pinellas Free Enterprise Hall of Honor, recognizing a legacy of service and advocacy for education.

The six finalists include:

• Vicki Meredith - Woodlawn Elementary, St. Petersburg
• Susan Pomeroy - Azalea Elementary, St. Petersburg
• Jessica Felice - Starkey Elementary, Largo
• Tracy Staley - Ponce de Leon Elementary, Clearwater
• Sara Carroll - Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School, Largo
• Sandra Rosado - Perkins Elementary, St. Petersburg

Pinellas County's Unsung Hero will also be recognized at the event.

The Evening of Excellence will be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall on March 1 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
