Update: St. Pete gas leak under control | News
St. Petersburg, Florida - All businesses are back open after a gas leak forced evacuations along parts of Central Avenue Thursday morning.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue was called out to the gas leak between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street in St. Petersburg. Businesses on the north side of Central Ave were evacuated as crews isolated and contained the leak.
Officials now say the leak is under control, and occupants were allowed to return to their businesses.
