St. Pete Pizza parlor faces second emergency closure

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida -- If Gateway Pizza sounds familiar, it's because we featured the restaurant back in mid-March. The restaurant was closed down by the state and fined $400 after a customer complained she saw a rat running through the dining room. A state inspector showed up and confirmed the finding, discovering rodent droppings in the kitchen, even a live rat near the back door.

Snell Isle statues spray painted, cops seeking suspect

St. Petersburg, Florida-- Snell Isle made headlines after the FWCC reported that a 13-foot Python was on the loose in the area, but that's not the only reason locals are upset Tuesday night.

St. Petersburg Police say they're searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for vandalizing the neighborhood's decorative statues and plaques with black spray paint.

Air Sex World Championships coming to St. Pete

St. Petersburg, FL - First there were air guitar championships.  Now things have taken a bit more... adult turn.

The 5th Annual Air Sex Championship Tour is coming to St. Pete on June 6th.  This event will be held at 662 Central Ave. and will cost $7 to enter.

This event is produced by the Alamo Drafthouse and will be hosted by comedian Chris Trew, who has weirded out people with his crazy sex demonstrations on America's Got Talent.

34th Annual Kid's Appreciation Day- today!

Seminole, Florida -- It's the last day for Pinellas County students- so end it with a party!

Wednesday, June 5, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is hosting Kid's Appreciation Day. 

Kid's Appreciation Day will include free refreshments, games, prizes and other contests mostly geared towards elementary children. 

The Sheriff's Office will be on site kicking off their summer safety initiative by teaching kids bicycle safety and giving parents tips on how to keep their children safe during the summer months.

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - A St. Petersburg man who's spent more than two decades carrying an assault rifle as a highly trained, super elite U.S. Navy Seal has traded it all in for lipstick and pantyhose.

After 13 dangerous deployments, 46-year-old Chris Beck, who was part of a unit made up only of men, has earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star, but now he is Kristen Beck.

Giant python spotted near luxury golf resort

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - Golf courses in Florida are known for their wildlife, but rarely has anyone in St. Petersburg ever seen what was spotted over the Memorial Day weekend.
