Condemned inmate now appeals to Fla. Supreme Court

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (AP) - A Florida inmate set to be executed next month is asking the state's Supreme Court to review a lower court's decision not to reverse his conviction.

Robert Waterhouse's appeal was filed Monday. Attorney General Pam Bondi filed a cross-appeal the same day.

The 65-year-old Waterhouse was sent to death row for the rape and murder of a 29-year-old woman in St. Petersburg in January 1980.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Here's a little something I found on my trip today near 6th Street and 48th Avenue North in St. Pete that caught my eye.

Whoever heard of recycling an artificial Christmas tree? Outside the house I found an arrangement of artistic pieces made up for your viewing pleasure.

I'm not sure who lives in the house, but whoever they are has a great imagination!
