Some Florida voters regret voting early?

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida -- There's still a week to go before Florida's Republican primary, meaning seven more days of attacking, debating, and campaigning from the four remaining candidates.

But for hundreds of thousands of Florida voters, none of that will matter.

They've already cast their ballots, some of them long before Newt Gingrich made his recent surge that has some polls showing him as the frontrunner.

"My mind was already made up," said Donna Northuis, who voted on Tuesday in Pinellas County.

Gingrich maintains momentum in Bay area after debate

Based upon the day's events, it has not.

Just hours after exchanging jabs with Mitt Romney, Gingrich arrived to an overflow crowd in St. Petersburg. Cars blocked the streets. Lines were out the door at the Tick Tock restaurant where Gingrich wasted no time continuing the war of words.

St. Pete floats boat regulations

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida -- On sparkling waters, boats can be beautiful but, when abandoned, beauty can turn to hazardous eyesore.

"You're never going to see that at night," says St. Pete Marine Officer Mike Robertson, pointing to a photograph of a nearly submerged boat.

Robertson says removing a sunken boat can be costly and that's one of the reasons the city is developing an anchoring ordinance.
