Sailing to the Paralympics

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Jen French's love for the water all started with a date.

"My husband took me windsurfing on our second date," she says.

Her sailing teammate, Jean Paul Creignou, started on the water when he was a child in Europe.

"When you go sailing, you just step out in the water and you're in a different world right away," says Creignou. "It's just very peaceful."

What they say brings an extra challenge to their sport is sailing with a disability.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for 'The Scream'

I scream, you scream, we all scream for 'The Scream'

"The Scream,” one of four versions by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch, will be up for sale on May 2 through the famous Sotheby’s Auction House in New York City.

Created in 1895, “The Scream” has become a modern icon of human anxiety.
Munch’s depiction of a man holding his head and screaming under a streaked, blood red sky is instantly recognizable and relatable.

This is the only one, of the four versions, of "The Scream" still in private hands. It is predicted to sell for $80 million or more!

Okay, you can scream now.

Gas prices frustrating for small local business

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - High gas prices are having a huge impact on some Bay Area businesses. Two local women who run a mobile tanning and tooth whitening business say they are spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars a week because of it.

Marcy Yauchler and Kelli Barr run Why Fry Mobile Tanning. They each own a van and cannot run their business without gas. The two have had to do a bit of maneuvering to try to move appointments around if they can to save on gas.
